Plate bases

Spring steel

A flexible steel base used for removable build-plate configurations. Compatibility, thickness and the installed surface remain product-specific.

Rigid steel

A stiffer steel base used for configurations where less flex is preferred. Final thickness and printer fit must be confirmed on the product.

Surface choices

Bare steel

An uncoated steel surface. Preparation, adhesion and release depend on the printed material and the printer process.

Garolite

A laminate build surface offered in selected configurations. The product listing identifies the base and printer compatibility.

G10

A glass-reinforced laminate surface offered for selected build-plate configurations. Confirm the listed base, thickness and printer model.

G11

A glass-reinforced laminate option offered separately from G10. Use the exact product configuration rather than treating the two names as interchangeable.

Carbon fiber

A carbon-fiber surface option available on selected plates. Carbon-fiber thickness differences are product-specific and must be reviewed on the listing.

Polypropylene

A polypropylene surface option for compatible build-plate configurations. Printer, base and process compatibility remain product-specific.

PPMA

A surface option preserved exactly as supplied in the client catalog. The name remains PPMA until the client authorizes a correction or expansion.

BuildTak

A branded build-surface option offered on selected configurations. Follow the product-specific compatibility and care information.

GeckoTek EZ-Stick Hot

A branded hot-build-surface option offered on selected configurations. Confirm printer model, plate base and availability before purchase.
