USA MADE spring steel (SS) build plates cut perfectly for your Creality 3D printer. Order a plain bare plate or add a pre-applied top for specific applications. It is the same shape as the build plate included with your Creality 3D printer so it is a perfect drop on replacement. The durable spring steel plate is made from polished and blued .5mm thickness spring steel. It is ready to accept your choice of adhesion.

These build plates were developed for our sister company that does service bureau and production FDM printing for industrial customers. Printing over 300kg of filament a year we have developed some of the best build plates you can get for your Creality 3D printer.

All the options below come pre-applied to a spring/rigid steel sheet. All plates should be cleaned with dish soap, water rinse, and paper towel dry. IPA will work but can leave a residue behind that affects adhesion. Dish soap is the best. Use the filament manufacturer's recommended bed temperature for a good starting point.

Build surface options

Carbon Fiber

Similar to the G10 with SS plate except stiffer but still allowing some degree of flex to release. We use real authentic twill carbon fiber for its stiffness, durability, and high temperature resistance. Thickness ranges between 0.5mm to 1mm (.020"-.040") and depends on what we have in stock. This is not an effects plate, it will NOT transfer a micro texture to your print. You can expect a very smooth surface. Works great with PETG and PETG-CF. Works with ASA but will require Vision Miner's Nano Polymer Adhesive and will self release clean once cool.

G10 Garolite

A 1/64" thick good all-around surface for most engineering polymers including PA, PC, PETG, PCTG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and PLA. Although it is primarily known for PETG/PCTG as being the best smooth cool-to-release surface on the market. We use true industrial grade G10 - this is not the same as the "G10" surface from Darkmoon. It has a glossier finish unlike the standard Garolite option above. It is the most wear resistant build plate surface we offer. It is like glass as far as durability. You can print 1000's of prints overtop the same area without degradation. We recommend using this with Elmer's Purple Glue Stick if printing difficult Nylon parts (may not need glue at all). No adhesion glue is needed with PETG/PCTG. If you print with PETG/PCTG a lot, then you absolutely need this. Works with ASA but will require Vision Miner's Nano Polymer Adhesive and will self-release clean once cool.

Rigid G10 Garolite

Standard 1/64" G10 laminated to a thick steel plate. The plate is rigid and will not flex. Best suited for high warp parts that can curl a spring steel plate like a potato chip. Depending on the material; parts can be removed with little effort once the plate has cooled to room temperature. Works with ASA but will require Vision Miner's Nano Polymer Adhesive and will self release clean once cool.

G11 Garolite

This is also a 1/32" thick topper and can be used for Nylon 12, Carbon Fiber Nylon, and TPU. Although it is primarily chosen for TPU. It has a more glossy finish unlike the standard Garolite option. It is the most wear resistant build plate surface we offer. It is like glass as far as durability. You can print 1000's of prints overtop the same area without degradation. No adhesion glue is needed with Nylon 12 or TPU. If you print with TPU a lot, then you absolutely need this.

Rigid G11 Garolite

Standard 1/32" G11 laminated to a thick steel plate. The plate is rigid and will not flex. Best suited for high warp parts that can curl a spring steel plate like a potato chip. Depending on the material; parts can be removed with little effort once the plate has cooled to room temperature.

Garolite

This 1/32" thick topper is primarily used for Nylon. It offers the best adhesion and reusability. Use your build plate again and again to print any type of nylon and nylon blends such as glass fiber and carbon filled. It can also be lightly sanded to yield even greater adhesion. We recommend using this with Elmer's Purple Glue Stick. If you print with nylon a lot, then you absolutely need this.

PPMA

Polypropylene Magic is our proprietary build surface that is the best suited surface we have used for printing Polypropylene (PP). This surface works similar to how PEI works for PLA filament. No glue needed and no release agent needed. The most difficult prints stick and do not pull off. Flex plate post print to remove parts. Can be cleaned with IPA. Heatbed is to be off the entire print. Set 220-230C for the hotend on the first layer. Subsequent layers can be upwards of 270C for the most durable prints. Surface is self-healing, if delamination occurs from the spring steel, set plate upside down on the heatbed and let sit for 30 minutes at 70-80C. Wait for it to cool down before use.

Polypropylene

Works well for printing PP with no adhesion glue. Has a very strong hold! High warping prints will pull the build plate up before it becomes detached from the surface. Therefore glue should be used on parts that have a large first layer. Large surface areas can become hard to remove and therefore the glue acts like a release agent. Magigoo PP is a good product to use with this surface.

Choose the steel and surface combination above that fits your printer, filament and application. Price and availability update with the selected configuration.
